Tanjim Islam: ‘Web Summit 2026,’ one of the world’s largest gatherings for the tech industry, will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 9 to 12, 2026. As always, the event will kick off in Lisbon on November 9 with a spectacular display of lights; organizers anticipate the gathering of over 70,000 participants, 2,500 startups, 900 speakers, and more than 1,000 investors. Paddy Cosgrave, the founder of Web Summit, will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony. Other speakers at this event include Tesla’s Elon Musk, Open AI’s Sam Altman, scientist Stephen Hawking, world-renowned content creator Khaby Lame, as well as the President of the European Commission, the UN Secretary-General, and prominent political figures from various countries. This technology conference will continue until November 12.
